Template Library > Saving Templates

You are able to save any of the templates that you work with in either library. Keep a template in your Active Library to have it editable, or save a backup of your template into the Read Only Library to have a copy of it.

To save the template you are currently working on:
Although not necessary, a good practice is to actively save the template you are working on into the Active Library. This helps should you ever need to restore the template at a later date.

  1. The template you want to save in your Active Library must be your current template.
  2. Go to the Template Library tab and choose either Save (to save the template under it's current name) or Save As (to save the template as a different template name) under the Active Library buttons.

To save a backup of the current template (will go in Read Only library):
You can retrieve this template and edit again after re-saving into your Active Library.

  1. Have the template you want to make a backup copy of as your current template.
  2. Go to the Template Library tab and choose the Save As Read Only button.
  3. Type in the name you would like your backup copy of this template to be and hit the Submit button.
