Software Engineer
General Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Work to develop front end and back end applications for small business email marketing, social media marketing and contact management platform.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years software development experience.
- Advanced skills using C#, ASP.Net 4.0, and Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, JQuery, JavaScript and Ajax.
- Experience with 3rd party tool sets helpful such as Telerik ASP.Net Ajax Control Suite (Q1 – 2012).
- Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2010.
- Familiarity with developing graphical user interfaces and command line interfaces.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to work in an iterative manner, building pieces and adjusting as needed.
- Ability to work effectively with small teams in a dynamic environment.
- Provide quality, documented code and participate in design and code reviews.
- Ability to author and maintain software design documentation.
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal – are needed as interaction with multiple departments frequently occurs.
Organizational Relationships:
- Reports directly to CMO.
- May act in a lead capacity on projects but has no direct supervisory responsibility.
- Interacts with other employees at all levels in the conduct of day-to-day activities.
- Actively participates in industry forums and user groups.
External Relationships:
- Primary contacts are internal to the organization.
- Minimal contact with external customers
- Actively participates in industry forums and user groups.
Salary Range:
- $70-90K
