Are You A Social Butterfly?

Are You a Social Butterfly Results Social Media encroaches more and more on our daily lives. We wanted to find out how involved our Swiftpage emarketing team is in the Social Media realm. Our staff took a quick survey and we’ve put the results into a cool infographic for your viewing pleasure. Here are some of the highlights of what we found out:

  • We don’t have a lot of tweeters in the bunch.

  • Most of us started our Social Media journeys on MySpace or Facebook.

  • Almost all of us post pictures online for the world to see.

Now it’s your turn.

We want to hear how you interact with the world of Social Media. Take the quick survey and be entered to win a FREE Professional Branded Template from Bright Peak, a $50.00 value! Results will be posted in an upcoming issue of Thoughtspot.

Take the survey now! Contest ends October 15th, 2011

Get Delivered - Get on the Whitelist

Swiftpage emarketing customers are whitelisted by Internet Service Providers to help with deliverability, but your emails can still be filtered by individual recipients in their personal mail settings. To prevent your emails from landing in the junk box, ask your subscribers to whitelist you or add you to their safe sender list. Below are a few ways to go about getting whitelisted.

1. As soon as a new subscriber signs up to receive your emails, follow up with a welcome email and include whitelist instructions for the email address(es) you will use to contact them. Check out Email Delivery Jedi. Their free service will quickly generate a landing page with whitelist instructions for all of the major email providers.

2. Include something similar to the following message in all of your email blasts: “To make sure you keep getting our offers, please add newsletter@abc.com to your Safe Sender list.”

3. Ask recipients to add you to their contact list or address book. Most email clients won’t filter email from personal contacts.

4. Don’t send spammy emails. Avoid the major spam faux pas by reviewing Swiftpage emarketing ’s Anti-Spam Quick Guide.

Getting on your customer’s whitelist is an important step to maintaining an email relationship. Take some of the tips above and put them into practice before you blast your next email. For more deliverability tips visit our Deliverability Center.
